[to call the place gaudy (http://bulk.destructoid.com/ul/139076-final-fantasy-vii-s-winning-formula-wall-market/Honeybee_Inn-620x.jpg) is probably just being polite. There's neon pink in odd places, chipping fake gold in even odder places and the very heavy smell of cheap perfume and an underlying scent of joint liniment. The bouncer out front is old and jolly and cheerfully calls you a dork and the girls working inside are dressed in cheap honey bee costumes with the fuzz worn off in patches. You don't want to know what they call you. They do however push/harass/guide you through the large inner hallway with its disturbing labels in corroded brass next to its thick doors and into the back room through a set of swinging doors. There's only one occupant in what is obviously a dressing room (http://i56.tinypic.com/fjdp9k.png)and they're sitting on the far stool in front of a makeup mirror. Scowling through narrowed glowing blue eyes. The ... vision of loveliness? (http://finalfantasy.neoseeker.com/w/i/finalfantasy/7/7d/FFVII_Miss_Cloud.jpg)... greets you with what must be a smokers induced growl of:]

[This dream is a simple one: an expansive meadow, a seemingly endless stretch of healthy green, dotted with blue flowers. It's an ideal setting-- picture perfect, really. Much too perfect to be real.

The dreamer-- a young boy of about five or six-- stands amongst the plants. He would blend in rather well, considering his green hair, if not for his all-white clothes and somewhat gaudy necklace. Some otherworldly, but very pigeon-like creatures are fluttering about him, and there is what seems to be a black-furred fox tagging along at his heels. He laughs, apparently immersed in some joyous conversation with the animals.

Care to try sharing in this little image of peace? ... Or would you rather disturb it? ~~You monster.~~]

[So. Hello. You're inside a cave, on a really tall mountain. It looks pretty nice - the clouds visible from outside, and looking pretty close.

Oh, and there's also a Dragonite there, looking out to the skies, quite relaxed.]

Perfect night for a Hunt, and that's exactly what he's up to. He's moving through the woods, chasing an unseen assailant, a gun drawn out, the safety clipped off a long time ago.

The chase continues, when the tree line suddenly breaks and he runs into a town filled with houses, who's lights have long been extinguished. A child's scream catches his attention, and he turns in time to see a vampire disappear around the corner with a child in it's hands.

[It's blurry. Everything, really. Light. All the blue. Why is everything blue? Sterling blinks. Once, twice. This coldness...panic strikes his heart, floods his veins, closes over his mind, sinks him further. He tries to flail, kick his feet, one he can't move the other slow, useless alone.

There's an anchor chain over his shoulder, looped around his waist, coiled around his leg, his right foot. Around him are dark, hazy, falling, drifting shapes - a wheel, a dress, coins. Below him are the decaying remains of a ship, haul split in two, tattered sails shifting in the current. And beside the jagged barnacles, across the shattered wood, along ornate clothes and flesh-clung bones of bodies resting there, rotting there, he hears a soft, distorted call. Clearer than anything. More alive than anything. Sterling kicks again, once, twice, aims and misses his boot, reaches towards the sun.]

[Arthur's used to ~~dreams~~ ~~nightmares~~ ~~dreams~~ nightmares about marriage, but none of them are usually this vivid.

Behold: A large stone hall bedecked in finery, and several large tables pushed back and aside to allow for the hoards upon hoards of people who have come to celebrate the royal union. Arthur's dressed in –a particularly unflattering, he decides– shade of hot pink, but thanks to dream!logic it isn't bothering him as much as it ordinarily might.

He grips the hands of his partner-to-be, and puts an honest effort into not looking deeply awkward as he slowly draws the veil from the face before his own.]

[Merlin's dreams are quite simple, just like the magician himself: A nice, sunny day. An open field, and the warlock is lounging against a rock, arms behind his head, eyes closed.
