fourth wall event is a go

Welcome to the world of your dreams.
Anything you've ever wanted to be, anything you ever could have been exists here and now. There are no limits to one's dreams. Anything that can happen, will happen here. You're in as much control, or lack of control, as you want to be in.
who: anyone and everyone, not just game members! all are invited to participate, from any verse you choose. imported game cr, oc's, au's, fandom oc's, doubles etc. anything goes here.
where: the setting is onepassingnight's theme: dreams! so go crazy with the setting. it's your dream.
what: a crack meme for crack fun :)
how: put your character and fandom in the subject of your comment in some form. otherwise, the rest is up to you. first-person, prose, action, etc. you decide.
one rule: if you are planning to play out a mature subject in your thread/the thread turns mature in any way (ie. murder, sex, etc.) put a warning in the subject at the moment the mature subject starts.

He continues to frown, but his eyes do soften slightly.] You shouldn't be here. Th-this is their place. This is... wrong. [His voice becomes louder, adopting a frantic edge. The fox at his heels growls.] No humans are allowed here!

[ And she turns, starting to head away. ]

[... Then again, his curiosity gets the better of him. He hasn't seen many other people before, just an occasional grunt, his father on very rare occasions, and... Concordia and Anthea.] U-um, wait! [He takes a few steps toward her, but keeps his distance. He glances down at his feet shyly before addressing her again.] You didn't answer my first question. Who are you? A-are you a servant? I've never seen you before... [He supposes she looks... a little like Anthea. And that alone catches his interest.]

I'm N. [He looks over his shoulder at the little group of creatures behind him, gesturing at the fox with a sweep of his hand.] And that's Zorua. He... doesn't like most humans. Humans did really bad things to him b-before Fa-- Ghetsis brought him to me... And I found the others myself! They're Pidoves! [He beams, proud of himself.
But he pauses in thought.] Wait, if you don't know my name, does that mean you're from... outside?

I've never met anyone from the outside before! Woobat says lots of things about it, though. She says it's a lot bigger than my room! [He gazes out at the meadow with a smile.] Like this place!
[But he pauses again, his smile faltering. Tifa couldn't just walk in here...] This is supposed to be a perfect place. Humans shouldn't be able to come in so easily... [He looks up at her sadly, a trace of fear in his eyes.] I've failed again, haven't I?

I don't want to get you into trouble, N.

[He turns around to face the animals that were with him, but once he does, the Pidove all fly off elsewhere, disappearing from sight and leaving the Zorua alone. N looks crestfallen, his shoulders drooping.] I can't do anything right... [It's just like Ghetsis said.
Eventually, he looks at Tifa again.] I-I wanna make a world for the Pokemon-- where they can be safe. I can hear them, you know. Most people can't, but... I can. They tell me about all the bad things that humans have done to them. I wanna be a hero to them a-and save them. But heroes are perfect! And all I do is mess up and disappoint everyone...

It reminds her of someone she knows. ] That's not true. I know lots of heroes, and they aren't perfect at all.. And even then, you have a dream, and you're working for it. I'm sure the Pokemon all think you're a hero, since you're working so hard to save them.

He listens to her words quietly. He's not so sure the Pokemon think of him as a hero... They seem to accept him as a friend, sure, but they don't seem to expect much from him. And then there's Ghetsis, whom he's always trying to please, but never can do so.] You... know heroes? [He peers up at her meekly.] Wh-what're they like?

They... saved the world? Really? Even after they failed...?
[He averts his eyes.] But what if... there's only one chance? [He shakes his head, distraught.] I don't want to fail, ever! F-- Ghetsis says I'm not allowed to fail... I-it's too risky, for the Pokemon... [And himself, though he wouldn't know about that.]
