fourth wall event is a go

Welcome to the world of your dreams.
Anything you've ever wanted to be, anything you ever could have been exists here and now. There are no limits to one's dreams. Anything that can happen, will happen here. You're in as much control, or lack of control, as you want to be in.
who: anyone and everyone, not just game members! all are invited to participate, from any verse you choose. imported game cr, oc's, au's, fandom oc's, doubles etc. anything goes here.
where: the setting is onepassingnight's theme: dreams! so go crazy with the setting. it's your dream.
what: a crack meme for crack fun :)
how: put your character and fandom in the subject of your comment in some form. otherwise, the rest is up to you. first-person, prose, action, etc. you decide.
one rule: if you are planning to play out a mature subject in your thread/the thread turns mature in any way (ie. murder, sex, etc.) put a warning in the subject at the moment the mature subject starts.

Not willing to go down without a fight, the creature rushed him, its sharp talons elongating as it gnashed it teeth, exposing sharp fangs. It didn't get within a feet of him before the silver vines overtook it, destroying it, and reducing it into nothing but a pile of ash.
He turned around then, remebering the promise he'd made to the young boy, and as he walked away a swift wind rushed past him, fluttering the tails of his long trench coat, and dispersing the ashes leaving nothing behind.
A few minutes later, the Hunter returned to the spot he'd left the boy. He looked around, searching for the other when he spotted him a bit away, sporting a long staff.

"...Thanks," He managed out. "...Who...who are you?"

Normally, he would have evaded the subject, but he wasn't so defensive against a child, and after a few moments of silence, he finally answered.
"Zero," he looked him over. "Did it hurt you?"
no subject
"...My neck hurts a little, but..." Underneath his small fingertips were strange markings--it looked to be a sort of tattoo that wrapped around his slender little neck. "I... I'm fine, um..."
He tried to stand a little straighter. "...Zero."
no subject
"Let me check," he barely said the words out loud, before he was moving to inspect his neck. He wasn't sure if the boy knew what had attacked him, but if he thought it was a simple kidnapper, it was all the better for him.
no subject
The boy blinked as Zero moved in
"...You have a mark on your neck, too."
