fourth wall event is a go

FOURTH WALL EVENT START

Welcome to the world of your dreams.

Anything you've ever wanted to be, anything you ever
could have been exists here and now. There are no limits to one's dreams. Anything that can happen, will happen here. You're in as much control, or lack of control, as you want to be in.

who: anyone and everyone, not just game members! all are invited to participate, from any verse you choose. imported game cr, oc's, au's, fandom oc's, doubles etc. anything goes here.

where: the setting is onepassingnight's theme: dreams! so go crazy with the setting. it's your dream.

what: a crack meme for crack fun :)

how: put your character and fandom in the subject of your comment in some form. otherwise, the rest is up to you. first-person, prose, action, etc. you decide.

one rule: if you are planning to play out a mature subject in your thread/the thread turns mature in any way (ie. murder, sex, etc.) put a warning in the subject at the moment the mature subject starts.

Jeanne d'Arc | Axis Powers Hetalia

[This dream isn't anything new for Jeanne, though it may be for anyone dropped into it.

You're standing in the midst of quiet countryside, nothing but fields of crops here and there and rows of homes. It looks peaceful, almost serene.

And somewhere in the midst of it is a girl, her long blond hair done up in a braid and the wind nipping at the hem of her skirt. At present she's carrying a basket on one hip.]

it reminds him, strangely, of Nibelheim. Not in the way things are set up or the scenery. There's just something... small and introverted and untouched by the outside world to the setting that jangles the cords in his heart that associate with his old birth place. He's not sure if he feels nostalgic... or claustrophobic. So there's a small frown on his lips and between his eyebrows as he makes his way slowly through the field, not at all sure where he is but hoping someone will eventually tell him. And maybe tell him how to get back to Midgar where old memories don't ride so close to the surface.]

[And Jeanne is naturally deep in those fields. She's been reaping it seems, basket full of stalks of wheat. She's sat the basket down a moment when Cloud manages to stumble across her. She seems a little surprised at his appearance, not his looks but rather the fact that he is there.]

Are you... lost?

[The idea of being lost in a dream is somewhat amusing.]

[Cloud has yet to realize this is a dream, more accepting of the implausible moments in life simply because he seems to have so many. He doesn't recognize the girl when he sees her but it seems natural that she would be there somehow and so he stops. His eyes take in the wheat, the basket and then rise to her. There's a mild pause on his part and then a single nod, more a duck of his chin than anything else. His voice is low but not upset.]

Yeah.

[And Jeanne meanwhile wholly realizes this is a dream. While this is her home in more peaceful times, Jeanne is not one to be fooled by such guises. Wasn't she only in the midst of battles, marching on a road seated upon her horse? One does not go from war to such peace and return to their former life so quick.

That's a little ironic really, if she knew more about what Cloud thought of the place.

Still, she greets Cloud with a brighter smile and a nod of her head.]

Then allow me to be of assistance, monsieur. I am unsure of how you may leave however but we might decide how together.

[he has no idea what 'monsieur' means but he's going to go on the assumption it's not a curse by the way she said it. Talk about leaving being unsure is strange but maybe she's not sure which town he wants to head to next.

Come to think of it... he's not sure which town he was heading to next...

There's a slight brow wrinkle at that but he pushes it temporarily aside, sure that it will come to him soon enough. Fenrir's got to be somewhere around here after all. Or maybe he rented a chocobo this time...?

One thing at a time.]

Thanks.

...

Which town are we near?
