"Your desire for blood has turned you into a serial killer," he pulled out a piece of paper, showing it to the injured creature, who spat at it. "For your crimes you will be executed by the order of the Hunter Association."
Not willing to go down without a fight, the creature rushed him, its sharp talons elongating as it gnashed it teeth, exposing sharp fangs. It didn't get within a feet of him before the silver vines overtook it, destroying it, and reducing it into nothing but a pile of ash.
He turned around then, remebering the promise he'd made to the young boy, and as he walked away a swift wind rushed past him, fluttering the tails of his long trench coat, and dispersing the ashes leaving nothing behind.
A few minutes later, the Hunter returned to the spot he'd left the boy. He looked around, searching for the other when he spotted him a bit away, sporting a long staff.
