Test Drive Meme

Been considering apping here but aren't sure if it's for you? Post a comment here with the character in question as if they were in the game. [Roxas supposed that if you looked at Riku, really looked, past the resentment and the unfulfilled rage, the multitude of questions his actions had wrought- Riku really did personify the twilight quite well. Good reasons, bad actions.]

[It didn't make him anymore likable, not in the least. But it was pause for thought, and perhaps Sora would want him to pause an think, rather than summon oblivion and demand a rematch.]

[He sighs, then approaches.]

You don't look so happy, being back here.

[He looks over and sees Roxas. His expression doesn't change as his eyes settle on the shorter boy. He really had no personal problem with Roxas, he was just trying to get what he thought needed to be done to help his best friend.]

Strange seeing you here.

[He doesn't answer to the statement. He's happy being back on the island with his friends. It's calm, peaceful, and mostly safe.]

Maybe a little.

[He agrees without necessarily agreeing. There's a little more to it than knowing the face of a person in your dreams- Sora was more than proof of that. This wasn't the Riku from his own past, and he wasn't the Roxas this Riku expected.]

But here I am, still in one piece.

[Riku leans back, crossing his arms over his chest and looks back out into the ocean. He gives a glance from the corner of his eyes for a second before concentrating on the forever setting sun. He gives a small shrug.]

Peaceful, to say the least. The excitement's over for now and things are back to the way they used to be.

[His head turns to look at the blond, his silver hair moving along with him]

Or else, they're mostly the way they used to be. Nothing around here has changed, but we certainly have.

[He's quiet for a while until he speaks in a softer tone]

At least they're safe...

[He quiets down again. His talk-o-meter being heavily depleted from that]

[Destiny Islands, in the position that its in, has a long lasting sunset. Its the same sunset Roxas used to watch on his clock tower, or so he'd like to think. He crosses his arms, listening to Riku speak until he's depleted from what's needed to be said, and nods shortly.]

Things will pick back up again, you know. Worlds aside-

Sora's a lot like you.

[A lot like Riku, a lot like Roxas. He wouldn't be happy staying in one place for too long, even if he wanted to; the very action of standing still enough to feel like iron bars.]

[Roxas walks closer, leaning against the edge of the paopu tree without looking Riku's way.]

Are you going with him, this time?

[There's a hint of a smirk there]

I know.

[He glances at him when he says he and Sora are alike. They were...but at the same time, very different.

He nods at the question.]

If I can help it, I will. Even if I can't, we'll meet up.
